South in Florida

Heading south in Florida toward Miami. About 40 miles short due to a meet with an old buddy and colleague Andy Grevitt who is a more transient police officer than me. Andy has been in a few police forces ending up in the Cayman Islands. He is now on a sabbatical and has achieved his PPL ( Private Pilots Licence) and hopes to go commercial soon. Good luck Andy and remember me when I need a cheap flight. Passed the Kennedy Space Centre, the Police and Astronaut Hall of Fame (Space Cadets call to mind and I have met a few of them, some recently) and ended up in a wee place north of Miami on the A1a Highway. Great wee Irish pub here and met a few locals with some stories to tell. Still trying to get the home journey sorted but waiting for the best deal……before Christmas…… it is 75 degs here after all…why rush home for the rain and cold? Picture attached…two similar vehicles!

  1. Hi Tom,
Great to catch up with you after all these years. Still the same funny guy and always a blast to talk to. If we ever make it back to Cayman, you and Pam are always welcome. Godspeed with the rest of the trip and safe a journey. Give my best to all who may remember me in L&B.

    Regards

    Andy
