Got the bike on the same flight as me with thanks to the good work of Mr Takahashi at Air/Sea Express, Tokyo. Arrived at LAX this morning, in fact, because of the dateline, I arrived 5 hours before I left. The US side of the freighting business has emailed me to say he is hopeful that the bike will be released tonight…we’ll see. Got insurance fixed up with Motorcycle Express almost by return email…good company. Need a beer and a sleep but will tough out the lag with the help of a Bud or four.
