Pam and I are enjoying the sunshine in Santa Monica and LA before taking in the sights of San Diego, Las Vegas and then visiting a friend in San Francisco. On the coast of Santa Monica got recognised by James Corden of ‘Gavin and Stacey’ fame. What a nice bloke! Had a long chat and a laugh as he killed time before a meeting re some work in Hollywood. At the end of the conversation he handed me £100 for Capability! Will leave the bike here for servicing and replacing the wee bits that fell off. Got some good tips for a route in the south but have been warned (as expected) about the heat. Pam brought me a ‘Red Cross’ parcel of Scottish give-aways and a new pair of underpants to replace the pair I have……joke…honest! I have included a picture of some cop doing the worst job in the world. You can imagine the scene….. “Okay Officer Smith, sorry about this but you have to take the quad bike and patrol the beach again today”. I will keep posting some interesting pictures and anecdotes from of our journey around the California and Nevada area.
